Comments (6)I like Porch #1. (A copy of Porch #1 on a wider footprint than your current porch...another 12'' or so added width on both sides of the door & sidelights.) Extending a long porch along the front of your house will shade the windows...depending on where you live, that could be good or bad?...See Morefront porch and front yard border design idea?
Comments (4)The picture is no help. move the camera up to the city sidewalk, in line with the front door, and take a series of slightly overlapping pictures that pan the ENTIRE scene from far left to far right, including neighboring houses in the first and last pics. Unless you move the cars for the picture, we wouldn't be able to see left of drive. Please take when light is good. Above picture much too dark....See MoreFront porch entry redo
Comments (8)I'm sorry - I was having a lot of problems in getting this posted. Basically, I am looking for ideas to revamp the whole area and if there is anything else I can use besides wood decking for the porch. The area is on a downward slope. Not sure what we are going to find under the decking tomorrow. I would also like some input regarding door color for the front door as well as the garages or just leave everything white....See MorePlease Help Selecting Color Front Entry Porch/Steps TimberTech Trek
Comments (4)edited to add: I'm looking into if its worth it to re-align my door. Im no expert but upon closer examination the door is def too close (tucked into) corner of porch and not centered with steps and the railing is too high. I don't want to lose the interior wall though between wall & windows :-( because I have no real foyer. Not sure where to begin... Please excuse the shrubs are a mess I know (will need to re-do in Spring). thanks...See Morebarncatz
