I just noticed that myself Ann, noticed slowly... I clicked on one, thinking the poster had embedded a photo but was taken to Garden Junk forum for no reason that I can come up with....nothing in Garden Junk had anything at all to do with the topic being discussed. A minor waste of my time, but still a waste.

It sounds as if everyone has an exciting weekend planned! I'm going to brave Joanns tomorrow to return the Simplicity rotary cutter, then I'm going to buy some muslin and batting and border material and spend the rest of the day piecing... looking forward to it... I didn't get a chance yesterday and worked today, so hopefully I'll make some progress tomorrow! I can't believe how much I've missed working on the quilt these last couple days! I've been toying with the idea of getting an embroidery machine, so I've been reading lots of reviews and watching videos... somebody stop me please!

Azzalea's comment about dealing with cash reminds me of the conversation on our local online Cafe. I casually mentioned that it really irks me when cashiers dump the bills in your hand and change on top. It's a balancing act trying to hang on to everything. Not to mention, there's no counting out of the change anymore. Well, I got rebuttals, of quicker to use debit (not necessarily!), use credit card because of the points earned, easy to lose track of what you spend when you use cash, having a credit card statement easily tracks spending. yada yada. THAT wasn't my point. I wasn't asking for advice on my spending choice. Geesh. I was ticked. In Canada (as I'm sure you know) we have $1 and $2 coins. A friend of mine was recently short-changed a $2 coin twice and $1 once at drive-thrus. No one counts the change, they just dump it all in your hand. I watch the cashier count it from the till, and now I double-check when I receive it.
