Bathroom Lighting with Sloped Ceiling

Looking for advice on the best way to light the vanity area in our bathroom under construction. The ceiling begins to slope at 6' high, then goes up to 9'.
Options we've considered:
1) Just recessed can lights.
2) Sconces on either side of a smaller mirror. It might be a tight fit with the sloped ceiling, but we could choose fixtures that point downward.
3) Single sconce on the left side wall, but we thought that would be too cluttered.
4) Short pendant over the vanity, but again we think this would be too cluttered with the sloped ceilings.
5) Lighted mirror. But the house is a little rustic and we're not sure if that would be too modern of a look.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
