ser 2-2-2-4 for 100 amp sub panel copper or aluminum
Comments (9)If you are refering to Aluminum then you would not be able to use 2-2-2-4 for the 100A 'Remote Distribution Panel' because it would not comply to 310.15(B)(6) and the allowance.....you would need to use 310.16 and column 75 degrees because it is 100A panel and while some SE or SER can be rated for 90 degrees....guess what the terminals are probably NOT...so you would be only good for 90A and protect at that rating. Now...copper....2-2-2-4 in copper...no problem as it is good for 115A.....but more expensive than AL....but you already know that...:) Here is a link that might be useful: The Electrical Guru Web Site- Visit Us Today...See More12ft 2 panel slider patio doors?
Comments (6)That is probably a Fleetwood Multi Slide door. That size/look is pretty common now. I would determine a budget and material type for the door (wood vs aluminum) and move from there but these are premium products. I see most of my clients finally narrowing it down to an OXXO configuration because of expense....See MoreMarvin 4 panel bi-parting slider?
Comments (2)I have one. I'll try to remember to take a pic tomorrow. Ours is 8 ft. high. I like the door and the fact that it opens to a large opening. The latch has been touchy as far as adjustment and it's only single point. The screens do not impress me - same old rollers and track thing that I've seen on cheaper doors. We got the low threshold as the door is well protected and we're not in hurricane country....See More2 windows and double french doors vs 4 panel sliding doors
Comments (41)We built in 2021 and ended up with 5 multi-sliding doors from Euro-wall. We needed impact/hurricane rated doors. All of ours are 10 ft high to fit our 12 ft ceilings. Our largest is 6-panels and 18 ft wide. We also have 4-panels that are 12 ft wide and 2-panel that are 6 ft wide. Very happy with them, except one is missing weather stripping and we have been waiting forever for the window/door dealer to send their warranty crew out to make the repair....See More- 3 years ago
