I like herbflavor's idea of the bluey white (I guess teal-y white if there is yellow in the formula?), although I have other blue things like curtains, textiles and plates that might add balance... I was thinking I would do a monochromatic yellow/caramel/white palette with the main elements. But when I cover up the walls with my hand and imagine the blue-y white, it looks really nice... Yes, I have a stainless fridge and stove. I have the BM paint deck. Is there a way to tell from the paint chips what colours are in the formula?

Hi, great question. There are literally thousands of colors to choose from. Our business uses Benjamin Moore Products, they have an awesome tool on their site to help you choose colors. I believe that you must first create a website account, then upload a pic and simply highlight the areas that you would want painted and then choose colors, then you can see what your area would look like after painting. It would be helpful to see pics of the opposite wall with painted white brick and more of the room. Your mirrors & light gray furniture give impression you are craving light. Suggestion: First, clean the paneling well & paint out or replace the fireplace insert black to match other accessories & make it less prominent. Then, decide if the paneling is too dark or wrong color to work with furniture + rest of the house & same with brick. It seems like remaining decisions, e.g. paint paneling or replace with drywall, paint brick or reface, add mantle, add bookshelves, etc. will depend on your budget.
