Hi Gill, sorry to see you're having problems too. Since the first time I had the problem, I have had it happen again 1 more time, although it went back to normal later that day. I always open the forum from a bookmark on my iPad. The second time it happened I had cleared my history/website data in the settings app. ( Settings/safari/clear history and website data) then when I went back to open the forum from my bookmark it had changed to the other weird page. Clearing the history/website data should not have changed the way my page looked, as this is something I have always done. But for whatever reason, this seemed to be what caused it the second time. It sounds to me, like some sort of issue that is affecting some iPad users that are using houzz. Maybe an incompatible issue arising from something houzz has updated in their running system. (I have not updated or changed my running system on my iPad, so I can't see that as an issue.) Hopefully you will find a work around with your iPad to fix this...or maybe it will fix itself after a couple of days. Good luck Gill, and please let us know how you go. :)

A bit of history, mine. I've been on many hot pepper forums since the early 2000's, Chile-Heads @ Global Gardens - Original Hot Pepper forum @ GardenWeb, and the advice I have to offer is twofold..... One is hot peppers has held my interest since the late 90's - I've never stopped learning or helping..... Two is I've seen many unbelievable chileheads fall by the wayside for various reasons, moved on, stopped growing, joined their maker and/or lost interest due to lack of fun with others (I'm sure there are others.) and I'd hate to see the few of you regulars left here fall by the wayside due to this forum in its death throws. I'm willing to offer advice, from opening an Imgur account to the very easy posting method to upload your pix in posts. You guys decide, you can peruse the forum by clicking here. I hope you'll at least take a look around to decide if it's worth the incentive to keep you active in a busy setting where your expertise will be welcome. NECM

Shiela, I am still having issues but it is all minor which I can handle. I cannot stand the Houzz app but chrome is useless for me. Talking about compatibility but I don't understand even my old phone is Android. I still used both just one don't work at all just for reading the other I used to type or post pics. sometimes, I forget and try to write and that's when I realized which one I am on .hahaha The Houzz app I have to go topics and get antique rose to log on . Just a few steps I have to take Everytime I log on and chrome is right there handy. jin

Folks, there is no such thing as a free lunch! No matter where you go on the internet there is someone interested in what you looked at. They use cookies to store that info so the next time their site is entered they can see what/where…etc Needless to say, what better way to keep track than to have you always at their site…. does an App come to mind?. Read the fine print, I’m sure it’s there….
