I might be chiming in a bit late for some of you but we have had the GE Cafe CD FD refrigerator plugged in for the past 3 days and so far so good! It is very quiet, keeps proper temperature in both the fridge and freezer, makes more ice than we'd ever use on a regular basis, and seems to be roomy enough for us. We love how one of the top shelves fold in to become half a shelf to make room for tall bottles and containers. The freezer compartments make organizing the freezer very easy. The door shelves are pretty deep and hold a lot of smaller bottles. NOTE: We are only 2 people in the house... I might not go for a CD fridge if there were more people as it might not be big enough. And we are not picky at all. We're coming from a HOTPOINT tiny little apartment size oldschool fridge, that while it never gave us a single problem in 12 years, was nothing to write home about in the looks and organization depts! In short, my initial review after 3 days of usage is, 2 thumbs up!! We love it! If it continues to operate this way forever we will be very happy.

I have the 4 door copper handles the dishwasher handle and double oven handles all the original boxes unused one not even open. All copper let me know if you want for half the retail price as they would not restock opened boxes. I prefer the copper handles but the brush bronze that came with appliances goes seamlessly with my other hardware so I am keeping the original bronze and selling the brand new copper that has never been used. Gorgeous. Stunning. t me know

I guess if you have a very good memory ….having 4 doors to choose from is a good option… in our home things in the fridge are constantly rotating to optimize space and access…and the deep door storage is invaluable….so … less doors is easier.. we have a side by side… one door for refrigerator is enough.. freezer small side for daily freezer items… extra freezer elsewhere for bigger items…

WE matched the white but mixed with cappuccino finish on solid cherry and brushed bronze/gold hardware and we think it looks and FEELS warm and cozy....the copper GE CAFE handles are STUNNING. The bronze stove dials were so dark i mixed the copper dials with the bronze handles on the stove and have to send back the copper handles for the dishwasher and fridge b/c the bronze was SO much warmer in our setting. I just love the copper so it's been an ordeal deciding. Selling the copper handles as they want a 30% restocking fee.
