I’d either whitewash the brick and do a creamy siding. Or match the new siding to the brick.

I've thought about whitewashing it, but just cannot commit to it. Once you do it, there's no turning back. It seems like tan brick is making somewhat of a revival and I've seen some homes where it works. Any other thoughts on what might work besides the whitewash option (last resort). Wow looks like a different house from these angles!! So so pretty!! Would you just replace the siding with matching brick I think that’ll solve some matching issues, as well as look awesome, so cohesive and add value!! Yay!

Lots of the mid-century "blonde" brick homes in my neighbourhood are going with a dark trim/siding. Maybe urbane bronze?

Thanks for the feedback. I do like the Urbane Bronze look.. This house below has that with a red tone brick but it still works. I think that would look good as well, just concerned that if I did a dark bronze roof it would be too much. Maybe a black or very dark bronze soffit and fascia would break it up a little.

I would go with a shade of dark bronze/brown.

BTW, glad to hear you are not white washing the brick.

once you get the bronze windows and roof, it will make a huge difference.

I'd paint the trim / siding a darker color like one of these shown in the photos.

and I'd accent w/copper. you can get copper color rain gutters/down spouts, copper pots, address plaque, and lights.

Or you could do the Smokey Taupe shade on the front door and the roof fascia trim.

here's the one w/the copper accents and warmer tones. I like the patina green color that copper naturally displays too. bring in plant containers and plants w/those colors.

I like the patina green shade w/the green foliage. More of a modern type of garage door, done in the same bronze tone as your windows.

I love this little tudor home. Your brick and windows should be similar to this. the trim work is similar to Iron Ore. Natural wood door in a warm cinnamon shade works perfectly. This is why I mentioned bringing in copper coloring.

a few other colors and accents

Have you heard of Romabio? natural, and is not permanent for the first 72 hours. you could try this on one side to see if you like it. if not, hose it off! Comes in 7 diff shades. this will also naturally patina w/age and wear naturally.

Wow! you guys are amazing.. awesome ideas. I might have to check out the Romabio product you mentioned Beth. Sounds perfect. Also the copper idea would look awesome. I really would like to incorporate natural wood tones, stone (plenty of brick), and metallic (copper). My front door, I recently added is a mahogany wood (picture below). Eventually I plan to do something with garage doors and like the more modern look idea for that.

Thanks Beth, Partim, Houssoan for the great ideas. I am leaning towards the SW Iron Ore or Urban bronze for the siding and then a dark roof eventually as well. Should the trim (soffit and Fascia) be the same color or darker?

Also any thoughts on all new siding together in a vertical pattern or painted wood instead of the cheap vinyl siding on there now?
