Comments (13)Sorry, Kim, I was typing at the same time you were, but that arrangement that you have now, is what I suggested below. I really like it. if that wood piece needs to be there, can you put your TV on the long wall where your couch is, put couch in front of windows and chair on the right side of your couch as you are looking at it. May even have room for another chair.....with end tables, coffee table and lamps your room will look good. I assume you will be putting some sort of curtain/drape on the windows. Your floors look very nice and a rug in front of the couch would give it some color....See Morelong narrow living room layout 11x19
Comments (1)Will you watch TV here? You could do a grouping of four small chairs at the fireplace and a TV corner left of the traffic lane to the kitchen and opposite the FP. Workable seating could be a small scale or apartment sized chaise sofa with a reversible chaise. This Jane Loft sofa is only 82" wide and the chaise portion can be shifted from left to right for more flexibility in arranging. Locate TV on the stairwell wall with the sofa floating facing it. The long wall can feature an art gallery and console or credenza under it....See MoreLong, narrow living room - furniture layout
