Help please with living room layout
Comments (47)Bellaflora- I love the table! I was just worried about getting a all dark wood table would be too much between the dark brown leather chairs. That's why I was leaning more toward a glass top table that was somewhat open. I do love the bedding that it shows with it when you click on "view in room". Do you know anything about this place's bedding? I have never heard of it. k9arlene- I can't really see how I would move the furniture farther away from the fireplace. Unfortunately, I have the angled wall that is directly to the left of the sofa If you are looking straight at it. And then I don't know how I would do a mirror or art work above the couch? Also the chair farthest from the fireplace sits in front of the entryway into the room and I'm afraid that if I move it any closer it will fill like it is blocking the entrance. Does that make sense? But, if you think there is a way I am open to any suggestions....See MorePlease help with living room layout
Comments (1)You might try the sofas both flanking the fireplace and move the TV budget to the wall where the 2nd sofa is now. Of you could do that and put the TV over the fireplace and put the chair and a table/small chest next to it where the 2nd sofa is now. It's a lot of furniture for a small room....See MorePLEASE HELP - Living room layout and furnishing ideas
Comments (9)Hey Amberleys! You have a really lovely open space, if this was my own home I would move the sofa so that it partitions the dining room and living area, facing the french doors so that you can relax while admiring your garden. You can then place an entertainment unit or large sideboard against the wall where your sofa currently is, you can get some really pretty ones which you can place your CD's into and stereo on top. An old farmhouse display would look lovely - depends all on what kind of style you like. I would then place the playpen in the corner where your stereo is at the moment when not in use and a storage unit for toys against the same wall - Ikea have some really great units for toy storage. I hope your able to find a furniture piece that suits you soon so you can have a lovely place to relax! - Jessica P.S I have added a few ideas below: [Wooden Industrial Sideboard[(https://www.houzz.com/products/delta-industrial-4-door-sideboard-with-lower-shelf-prvw-vr~119406508?lid=89713568) [Wooden Storage Bench[(https://www.houzz.com/products/natural-piper-3-drawer-3-basket-bench-cabinet-prvw-vr~119406640?lid=89713694) [Miami Beach Mirrored Sideboard[(https://www.houzz.com/products/miami-beach-mirrored-sideboard-prvw-vr~119406212?lid=89713288) [Harvey Grey Sideboard[(https://www.houzz.com/products/harvey-grey-3-drawer-sideboard-prvw-vr~119338961?lid=89645588)...See MoreHelp needed - Small living dining room combo - layout added
Comments (14)Try a 3-seat sofa facing the windows with a coffee table and two chairs, one at each end of the coffee table to form a "U." Use a drop leaf table behind the sofa to serve as a dining table/sofa table.Hang art opposite the grouping with a console or credenza below it. On the large wall add casegoods (bookcases, a secretary, display cabinets.) Additional art between the bedroom and entry doors. Scale is different below, but just for concept of a "U" and of a sofa/dining table....See MoreLilDesignWorks
