Ingenious idea or too odd?? Towel bars/Lake House
Comments (20)If towel drying is an issue, it is due to the thickness of the towel. I purchased IKEA bath sheets with loops for the kids as they went to college. Eventually I got myself one. It hangs in my closet on a hook. It has never had issues drying, and the co-eds never once complained either. We went for size over thick and luxurious. When DH finally remodeled his bathroom and basically turned the room into a shower we had no where for bars. We went with hooks. His towels are very thick and he has had issue with drying. I added the loops myself. Perhaps this is why towels that come with loops are thinner?...See MoreHome exterior help - Modern Farmhouse type style
Comments (32)Here's some information about sliding windows. In a storm the exposed track fills with water and if it doesn't drain fast enough water enters the house. I've seen it happen in a test chamber. The fact that they are cheap is not enough of a reason to put them in a house. And little burgers are known to cause indigestion. Comments (5)Thank you for your suggestions Patricia. There is a circular driveway that is hard to see from the picture we posted so I'm not sure how a walkway would work as it would have to cut across the driveway. We currently have asbestos shingles and have painted them 3 times over the last 20 years. I think they kind of make the house feel dated. The small windows are from our master bedroom redo 20 years ago. They were actually very modern looking when we put them in. I'm attaching a picture of how they look over our bed, but your right they do appear small from the outside....See MoreNeed help with updating the exterior for a modern house!
