Stephanie, Did you decide on a floor yet? I am in the same boat as you... Was leaning towards COREtec LVP, but am intrigued by the RevWood. I'm getting confused what will last the longest - LVP with WPC or SPC, or a laminate like RevWood. Too many choices! We plan to stay in our house forever and have pets. So we want something that will last decades, and will be installed throughout our whole house (except bathrooms). Looking to spend around $6 sq ft. Only requirement is that it is a floating floor (dont want to glue or nail down). This process is waaay more overwhelming that I ever thought it could be.

Also, kitchen cabinets: tradition raised panel or shaker?

Hi Debra! We've had Revwood Plus installed for about a year now and it seems indestructable. To clean it I just swiffer or vacuum and maybe use a dry mop that squirts water, super easy. We have an old lab who's peed on it a few times with no issues and her claws don't scratch the floors. She also likes to drool water everywhere from her bowl, and it's not created any water marks. It's on our main floor, so the kitchen and a half bath - so far so good! We have Casita Terrace Cottonwood Oak - I'm not big on gray, so this floor is a really nice brown with dark and light tones.

@jessica did you have your baseboard already. The options for me is they pull the baseboards and then put them back after on top of floor (with the gap under the baseboard) or they leave the baseboard pull out current floor from under baseboard but then when they put new floor they will need a thin baseshoe molding to cover the gap. Did you or anyone have this issue
