Looking for advice on Mohawk Revwood Plus flooring
Comments (8)@HU-524204891 I love that paint color! We moved into this house with the paint color on the walls so I’m not positive what it is... but it looks very similar to the SW color “Rainwashed” which is just a bit darker than Sea Salt. So I think it will look great!...See MoreMohawk Engineered Hardwood vs Revwood Plus
Comments (0)We haven't liked any LVP due to the matte finish and low profile. We think, from research, the mohawk water resistance (marketed as waterproof) line of revwood plus is a great option for us (but would love opinions and reviews). However, the only color sample we liked was edgewood copper oak and it's not love, but likeable. We love the colors of their engineered hardwood line (and the shine that comes with it!). Java birch primary or coffee Hickory. It says aluminum oxide finish which is what the better lvp use so wondering if we can consider engineered hardwood even though we have dogs, young kids, etc. It is not water resistant and this will be our whole main floor, including kitchen (but downstairs bath would need a different floor...probably lvt). Thoughts/advice?...See MoreMohawk RevWood Select
Comments (17)I have had the select floor for a couple months now. Select is pretty water resistant and scratch/impact proof for the most part. However if you have pets of any sort I would upgrade to the plus. My cat peed in the corner of the room and I had put some enzymatic liquid cleaner to rid it off the smell. After a couple hours the joints swelled up slightly. A dehumidifier is potentially helping it go back to normal but in general with pets (especially dogs) I would not recommend the select. For general purpose, as long as large spills are cleaned up within a reasonable time it should hold up well. It looks great for the most part, its not completely scratch proof but much better than hardwood floors. Impact proof is amazing. A contractor dropped a large tool from the 2nd floor and it didn't do anything to the board....See MoreMohawk Revwood Plus Antique Craft in Stone Hearth Oak - need pic pls
Comments (3)As I have mentioned many times seeing something in someone elses home does not help with choosing for your home All knds of things affect colors like lighting, other elements in the spac e. The best if possible is to get a box of the flooring and bring it home and layout as large an area as possible to see what it s like in your space . I guess my first question would be is your home full of cool or warm colors since that flooring is very gray....See MoreHU-930312983
