Aw it's awful when you don't feel comfortable with the cut you get. You're doing everything right. It's taken me a long time to find someone I trust, and even now sometimes when she tries something new I may not feel right with it until it grows out a bit. They never blow it dry quite the way I can, and it just looks and feels awful when they do it. In the summer I run back home with my hair wet to style it myself! Anyway, the cut is good, and here's what I've done. Bring a few pictures you like, preferably of someone with your similar shape face and hair texture. Then just talk for a while with your stylist about what you like about the cut(s) AND what you DON'T like about some of them. I will bring some pics of women with slight layers that I like and say I love how this looks here, but here is a similar pic with shorter layers and I hate how it looks over her ears, the inversion in the back wedge is too severe for my liking, etc. This will help your stylist to see what you are shooting for. Then she will talk to you about what she thinks is correct for your face and show with her hands how short or where the layering will start or why, etc. Good luck! I think they KEY is to show what you like AND what you do not like.

I'd look at it as the "personality" of the stone. Unless you really search, it's rare that any piece of stone is perfect, especially with bottocino, where it's such a light neutral color, and any imperfection's going to stand right out. If it really bothers you that much, I'd bring it up to the fabricator, but there may not be that much he can do about it without going to still ANOTHER slab. He may have a problem with that, and although I can see your side of it, I would understand his, too.

If you try to submit another post immediately after your first (or previous) post, the system views that next, immediate post as a repeat. In that instance, you will have to change the subject line of your follow-up post. For example, if the subject of the thread is something like: "Why I like kitchens," you may have to change the subject line on your follow-up post to something like: "Another reason why I like kitchens." If there are posts entered by others between your own submissions, you shouldn't have to do this. HTH

The color in the foyer and LR and stairs will look different in the office because it is a more enclosed space, and little light gets in. I think the Oak that you love elsewhere might go muddy in that room, and you will end up hating it. I would think about the teal, but be sure that the color is ÂclearÂ, not greyed or dusty, or you will end up with the same issue. I think the cherry desk, woven chair and neutral rug would work fine with that, and it would become a fun office space, rather than just another gold-brown space. Can the fabric on the chair be changed? You could look for a fabric that brings in the teal, if it is not already in the tropical print. Another choice would be red - but that would partially depend on what color cherry the desk is, and what color the flooring is.
