Coordinating Colors for Hale Navy
Comments (33)Beth--- this is just my 2 cents but I would not do that color on the front door. I live in a neighborhood of over 2000 homes in sunny Florida. We can pretty much paint our homes any color we want. I see all the homes who have done the pop of color for the front door and 9 out of 10 times it doesn't work. All you notice is the door. I find it takes away from the home instead of adding value to it. When we were trying to decide on our color my fiancee actually made renditions of the home. He would add different colors to the door so we could see how it would look. Maybe take a picture of your house and upload it to SW and use their paint tool and see how it would look....See MoreHave you tried BM Hale Navy 25% lightened?
Comments (6)Thanks Patricia. I hear you on lighting but I actually like to keep lights low in here when I am working or reading. Feels cozier to me, like an old world library. That was the whole inspiration behind painting the bookshelves a darker color (they are white currently). I have ceiling recessed lights that are almost never on. I have a desk lamp on my desk and another by my reading chair/recliner; If I am in there at night those are on. During the early part of the day most of the time I make do with natural light, whatever comes in through the windows....See MoreHale Navy Jack and Jill Bathroom
Comments (11)I like the white shelves. I think navy will look great on the walls. How about painting the walls and the back of the shelving unit navy and then decide if you want it all navy? If you do paint the unit, I would use a satin finish not matte which you should use on the walls. Good luck....See MoreDoes BM Smoke Embers go with BM Hale Navy?
Comments (1)In my head the answer is no and I would need to see your space to even begin to guess . Maybe a bit more info will help and for sure pics of the spaces ....See Moresusander
