Dog Food Storage

I saw a 12-year-old thread on this topic, but nothing recent. My rescue dog will be here in a few days, and I am buying all my supplies for him. I plan to buy kibble in 15-lb bags (rather than 25-30 lb. that are available) to ensure the kibble is fresh even at the end of the bag. I will store the kibble in my kitchen pantry (pantry has a door).

I would prefer to store the bag itself inside a storage container rather than empty the kibble into the container. I've been looking on Amazon, and all the containers that purport to be airtight (like Iris, Bergan, and Gamma) have lots of reviews saying they are not, and allow critters in. Some reviews say to look for a rubber gasket, and avoid a styrofoam or foam gasket, but I am not seeing rubber gasket containers that would hold a 15-lb. bag. Any ideas would be welcome. TIA.
