Inherited a set of Visions pots, the purple ones, from a neighbor who moved to a retirement home. Was sooo happy, they looked gorgeous. She used the smallest pot for 15 years, still perfect looking except for a slight fog at bottom, the other two larger pots untouched. Though she had no incident with respect to using the smallest pot for 15 long years, all the information about Visions exploding makes me nervous. When you have pets or kids, you think twice about things... If I start using these beauties, I will have that image in my mind and be on constant red alert and edgy, not the most comfortable way to cook... I will probably end up tossing them... :(

I've never touched the stuff. I tried doing a quick search and found limited info. it says its Janka is at 1290 which is basically the same as Red oak (1260) The stuff is more than likely expensive, compared to Red Oak and probably closer to the price of Braz Cherry. With that being the case, the color does look neat, but for the Price, I would shy away and find something else that can be similar in color and a better hardness rating.

My experience with Nuvelle interlock hardwood flooring is NOTHING but dissappointing. Installed the floor 2 years ago as a floating floor and it has moved away from the walls leaving about on inch gap from two of the edges and wherever there were knots in the plank the wood has split... the interlocking mechanism is failing in many areas . The inspector said it was installation error but where they say was installation error we are not having problems! It’s the incredible shrinking floor going on 2 years now and still shrinking... $6000 Down the drain. Bought from Home Depot by sun crest supply and all have used the inaccurate floor inspector report which was written a month after he inspected the floor and called to ask me questions because he couldn’t remember the inspection ! I have copies of many customers who bought the same type of floor and are having the same issues I am but Home Depot and Suncrest supply took our money and ran... no resolution for us ... saving for a new floor in the future. Be wary of the interlocking floating floor! The design is not working in our house in Colorado!

We found colors that we really like of SPC flooring, Victoria from their Riverbanks collection from JC flooring and Puma from Regal, but I am struggling to find information or reviews on either one of them. Thank you!
