Flooring Design Dilemma

Has anyone used Cortec Grande in Lotte Oak?

I’m considering cortec LVP in the Grande format for my new build in St Augustine. I have narrowed my choices to Lotte Oak and Goldin Oak. The goldin oak tends to the grayish side but looks sort of beachy. im Leaning toward the Lotte oak as it is a bit lighter. I fear it may look a bit yellow though. Other than the stock photos on cortec website I haven’t see any installed photos or read any reviews of the Lotte oak. Can anyone help with this and share their experiences or photos?

Here are some pics after day 1 of install! It looks so different in different pics and hard to get a true pic, but it’s turning out beautiful! I love it!

We had planned to install the Coretec Grande Lotte Oak (installed in kitchen only); however have ultimately chosen to go with a lighter color - the Makkah Oak -- in remainder of home. I am struggling with the same issue - the samples I have gotten seem wonderful but the limited pictures on line are concerning - I do not want too much variation in coloring once the floor is put down. Any advice you could offer would be wonderful - thank you!

Hi all, we are about to break ground and are making a last minute change on our flooring selection. After looking at more whole room views, the one we chose is a bit too dark for us and has too much variability between boards. Does anyone have any experience with the Adura Max or similar brands that have a natural oak look to them? We’ve had our eye on the Adura Max Southern Oak Natural or Adura Max Calico Lynx. The Cortec Calypso Oak also looks very beautiful. Would really appreciate any pictures anyone may have of these LVTs or any other suggestions for a natural oak LVT!

Yeah ive heard good things longterm about the grande line! but not so much about cairo. im sitting here staring at a grande petronas sample wondering if i should just bite the bullet bc im over thinking about it lol

Thank you for sharing those photos Christina. It is beautiful! It does look a bit darker than I expected but I realize it’s lighting etc. I hope you love it. I won’t be installing until later in the summer so I’d love any updates if you find the time.

I LOVE it! The more that gets put down the more I’m loving the coloring of it. I think it’s definitely lighter in real life than it’s showing in pictures. I’ll post more pics when it’s done!

@Ellen H we are loving it! It looks a lot lighter than the pictures show and lighter than we thought it’d be, but we LOVE it! I’ll post some more pictures.

I would say it appears much warmer and less variegated in person. This picture is best depiction of true coloring of the floors:

Christina can you let me know where you purchased this from ? The place I have been working with in ny is charging over $7 a sq foot and I ordered a box a month ago to make sure and it’s coming in until may !

Can you comment how it compares to Coretec Calypso? Darker? Lighter?

They are VERY similar! Lotte is the big and Calypso is the small plank.
