Comments (2)The description of your arrangement is unclear to me. Is the new GC taking over the original GC's contract and subs or making his own proposal with his own subs? Would you expect him to run the job and be responsible for the end result for nothing? Since he doesn't need to supervise his own work the markup might reasonably be omitted for that work. Comments (1)We found that the Ikea installers were cheaper than our own contractor. And probably faster, considering the leaning curve.
