bar stools update, renew, refresh!
Comments (1)Hi Karen, What a lovely kitchen! Is your island base blue or gray? It's beautiful. In regards to which stools would compliment your style, be kid friendly, blend a little but also be eye-catching, I would recommend any of these below. The ones with the seat cushions can come in vinyl, which is perfect with kids, as they can be wiped off. Vinyls are also very durable, but not as costly as getting leather. Most of our customers who are looking for leather, go with vinyls. 1 - Here's the Architect stool, also available with a seat cushion. Very industrial. The wood and metal finish color can change. You can make the colors blend, but the style of the stool is going to POP! 2 - Carson stool by Amisco. Industrial style, with a hint of mid-century modern. You can select your wood color, seat cushion and metal finish to match your kitchen and taste. 3 - Dexter by Amisco. Modern/industrial stool. Clean lines. Can come in a seat cushion if you prefer it. You can select your wood color, seat cushion and metal finish to match your kitchen and taste. 4 - Lauren by Amisco. You can select your wood color, seat cushion and metal finish to match your kitchen and taste. 5 - Chester by Wesley Allen. Very industrial farmhouse! Shown in a Vintage Blue distressed finish, but can also come in a distressed white finish (which is common in farmhouse kitchens) and more. Seat cushion can be bonded leather. 6 - Upright stools by Amisco. Also available in a wood seat. Very industrial modern, but can evoke a farmhouse style if you choose a light wood finish. All of these are not only gorgeous, but comfortable! We always urge you to think about comfort, not just style when getting stools. You'll be sitting in them daily, you'll definitely want something comfortable. Do any of these speak to you, Karen?...See MoreBasement bar update

Comments (1)I would also remove the bar cabinets up to for open shelves. replace the backsplash and pendants. put a less bright bulb in the eyeball, and new art there. paint the walls. replace those sconces. the things around the stone are dated....See More- 5 years ago
