Replacing bathroom faucet - supply line question

Hello all, I'm a new homeowner, and a noob DIY-er. I am trying to replace a two-handle sink faucet with a one-handle (https://www.homedepot.com/p/MOEN-Kleo-Single-Hole-Single-Handle-Mid-Arc-Bathroom-Faucet-in-Chrome-WS84900/206690770). The supply lines have 3/8" compression fittings that don't fit onto the valves in my bathroom.

Initially, I bought 1/2" adapters (tried both https://www.amazon.com/LASCO-10-0061-Compression-Adapter-2-Piece/dp/B0083GC574 and https://www.amazon.com/Delta-RP63263-Pex-Compression-Adapters/dp/B003MANGU6) but they were too big. I then bought 7/16" adapters (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-7-16-in-x-3-8-in-Female-OD-Compression-Brass-Reducing-Coupling-Fitting-800969/207176815) but they are too small. Can anyone please advise what I'm doing wrong? My only guess is that it should be the 1/2" but I need a specific washer. But I don't want to keep guessing, so I'm here to seek advice.

Thank you all in advance!
