Seams in wallpaper

I need advice on how these wallpaper seams can be fixed so they don’t show (as much). This is in a hallway and stairwell where art and furniture can’t help camouflage!

- paper is original - house built 1970

- removing paper destroys drywall - tried lots of ways

- paper is bubble free, no rips - willing to leave for now if seams can be dealt with

- no budget to higher pro as house as other major renovation needs right now

- willing to consider bonding primer then re-paper if that would hide seams

- not as keen on bonding primer then painting as just did another room that had these awful seams like this - trim overlap, spackle and sand and the seams still show - furniture, art and curtains are helping to hide the seams until later in our reno we can pay to have the walls have a skim coat done

Thanks for your thoughts. I know the paper is kinda ugly but we will need to work with it for now!
