I did that exactly, ellessebee. I have the 240V OTR Advantium mounted above the counter. I also have 15" wall cabinets so it fits and works like a charm. I don't think there are any differences in the cooking features between the wall oven and OTR models. The oven cavity is pretty big, because I can fit a half sheet. There are two considerations you need to keep in mind. 1. The OTR does need to vent, because it performs a cooling function after using the non-MW functions. I have mine blow out the front, above the door. In hindsight, I would have run some duct up and over to the adjacent rangehood. 2. The door needs and extra inch of clearance on the hinge side (left) to open. When the contractor first installed it, the whole unit was flush with the cabinet and looked awesome. He was so proud of himself, as was I. I went to use it later and couldn't open the door. It also blocked the exhaust in the front. He had to come back and reinstall it by tacking 2x4s (actually measured 1.5x3.5) to the back wall and then installing it. Now it all works beautifully, while taking a slight hit in the aesthetics. Another benefit to mounting the OTR model OTC is that the underside is heat and moisture resistant. So my coffee maker has a permanent home under there where I don't have to worry about the steam damaging the undersides of the cabinet. Oh, and the built in light of the OTR serves as task lighting for the area underneath. So I also saved money on lighting there. This post was edited by jscout on Mon, Jan 28, 13 at 13:26

1. If you search in the Appliances forum, you'll find a number of posts from one guy who has the Sharp, and sells them, and thinks they're terrific. 2. Lots have the Advantium (inc. me, but I have the Monogram Pro 240 version). Plenty of info about that, and the OTRs in the Appliance forum too. I love my Advantium. I'm not so enamored of speed cooking, but it's a truly excellent microwave, and works very well in oven mode. It works fine in speed mode as well, but I have yet to find things that I wouldn't rather spend the extra half hour on to do the old fashioned way. If I had X number of minutes to get the kids to practice, I'm sure the speed mode would be my best friend. 3. Yes, consensus is the Breville is the best toaster oven. More info about that in Appliances too. :) I have the Gaggenau combi-steam. The amount of steam escaping really isn't a big issue, though I suppose it might be if you had a uberairtight house, or high humidity. I'm not sure you need the toaster oven except for actually making toast, or a lot of family members all making different things at once. I have a conventional oven, combi-steam and Advantium, and keep a toaster oven in the small appliances drawer for toasting bagels, et al. When we take it out, we put it on the island, handy to the breakfast seating. I use one of the smaller ovens (both the Advantium and combi- do convection oven mode) if I need a small oven, never the toaster oven. Though the Breville is supposed to be a very good oven.

If it helps any, there's a 30 minute keep warm setting on the microwave drawer. Great as the warming cabinet is, I'm beginning to think it's a bit of new-toy-itis. You keep saying "I want two ovens". I think that means you want two ovens. More than anything else, you want two ovens. So get two ovens and go with the Cluny. I don't know the answer but I am curious. if I were you (and having the benefit of hindsight) I wouldn't hesitate to call any of the Miele USA "Experience Centers" and ask to talk to any of the design staff. If you are in the US start with the Princeton, NJ center, their US headquarters. Even better if you can get to a center. The staff at these centers are a world apart from anyone you'll encounter at any appliance dealer, they use the products for demos and classes and typically have the appliances in their own homes. And it's their job to know the details on what you are asking. And report back and let us know.
