Kitchen Cabinet Refacing: Gaps Between Doors

I am refacing my cabinets myself and am wondering what people think about the gaps between my doors.

As you can see in the photos between each door there is a substantial gap. I am replacing them with more modern shaker style doors. In this style, every example I have seen has little to no gaps in between the doors. Should I make the doors bigger where possible to fill these gaps? This would work quite well in some areas as you will see in one of the photos but then in other areas such as over the microwave, I can close some gaps with wider doors but not others (aka where to hinge sides are facing each other). If I do this will I cause asymmetry? Am I overthinking? Should I order the new doors in the original dimensions? Close the gaps where I can and accept them where I cant?

Thank you!
