I believe they are grafted. The trees look super healthy. Had a problem about 4 months ago with scale but it's been taken care of and the trees really look good. Is it possible that the fertilizer is working to promote new growth - which is abundent, instead of promoting fruit growth and if so, is there anything I can do? This tree is like my third child, it gets so much attention :)

Probably just underfed; the plant will often suck the life out of older leaves to use it making new flowers and fruit. If you have mature fruit on the tree, I would recommend taking it off, or at least most of it; and then give the tree a good shot of citrus food. If it is a garden tree, the surrounding plants or grass could be stealing the food you are applying. Meyers should be fed 3 or 4 times per year; and assuming it is inground, I have found it very hard to overfeed a Meyer. Post a photo if you can.

Thank you for your input Johnmerr. So I will go ahead with Epsom salts (they were fine and it happened pretty quickly and I was worried it's some kind of a disease). In regards to cow manure and fish pellets, how much is a lot? The guys at the nursery always say to use little and not in the summer. I still use more than suggested and I guess that's still not enough (I am now convinced they don't know what they are talking about). Considering we are practically in the desert how often should I fertilize? In regards to lemon I will probably protect it for next summer. We have extreme heat here in summers, and many plants stress out. Things are cooling down now. And it actually does receive water everyday, the soil is moist all the time, I check it occasionally and never let it dry out (except on a couple of occasions when I couldn't water for a few days).

I just wanted to post an update: The lemon tree seems to be in a stage of stasis. The leaves are not getting any greener, or yellower. I had started as Josh suggested on the 5ML dose. But that doesnt seem to be making any difference. I hated the nursery soil it came in. Last week, I decided what the heck and just repotted it into the gritty mix. I have repotted other plants before without any negative effects on the plants. So that gave me a bit of confidence. I barerooted the lemon tree. Rinsed up pretty much all of the previous soil mix. I didnt notice any roots coming off or getting damaged. So hopefully it will be okay. its been 5 days now since the repot. I guess this tree just wont react to anything I do to it. haha Still the same. Didnt get better, not getting worse. Certainly no leaf loss or yellowing. No new foilage either. Lastly, I decided to just remove all the lemons that had formed on it. There must have been 30 or more. Hopefully this will also help it. (okay I left one.
