Has anyone else had problems with the white paint on starmark cabinets

Lynn McCarron

I had white shaker kitchen cabinets installed about four years ago to replace my 1980's oak and veneer cabinets. I chose Starmark because they are very well crafted cabinets and made in the USA. However, after only 4 yrs the finish on both the shaker doors and boxes is wearing off, is started to get chipped off and because it is shaker style water rests where the horizontal plane meets the trim and appears to be penetrating and raising the surface of the coating so that it feels raised and bumpy. I am wondering what I can do about this. Because of the water making the surface bumpy, I don't think paint will be the solution.
