Hi, Red, Your room has great doors. I'm posting a couple inspiration pictures of a room that has a couple door areas similar to yours. The pictures show how the curtain panels could be stacked on both ends and in the middle between the doors as an option--the look really warms up the room. I think you may find that you'll have studs in the places you need or can just use wall anchors to screw into when placing your brackets so shouldn't have to rip out sheetrock to hang the brackets. You can also search the JCP or other store websites for curtain rods. When the rods are long, they'll usually have an extra support bracket. The rods come in up to 10' lengths, but you might have to use still use two and join them at a support bracket. Hope this visual helps. The link below is just one idea for a panel. Thanks for all your suggestions, Oceanna! Um, let's see . . . the other leather chair is dark green. Both chairs are in great shape and super comfortable for lounging and watching tv. The Santo lamp, BTW, is an antique chalkware piece that I had mounted on a lamp base. I love it, but was wondering that might "clash" with the Native American pieces. Then again, New Mexico is known as the land of three cultures, Hispanic, Anglo and Native American, and we mix our art, foods and architecture together all the time out here. It probably looks a bit weird to many people, but I'm glad that you can appreciate it. Below is a pic of it, taken a couple of years ago. "> I like your idea of a black tower. And, just to really blow everyone away by the eclectic mix of our 3 cultures in this room, this is the artwork hanging over the patio doors in here. I dont think its the color I think it's the style of the room has too much going on. I also think you may have too much going on in this small space. The table lamp isnt working, I also think maybe the end table should be on the other side of the love seat. Not sure you need a sofa table in here, perhaps that would give you some room to pull the sofa back a bit and open up the room some more. Two chairs would be great. maybe a sofa with a chaise on the doorway side what is to the left of the fireplace, is that a heater? I would not decorate on top of it, I would put a picture over it. maybe do try the sofa on the stained glass wall and two chairs facing the fireplace. Might be more open feel.

Youu can find many resources online explaining placement of mirrors/art and how to balance a space, here is one https://homeguides.sfgate.com/tips-hanging-mirror-over-furniture-100546.html It will help you understand why you felt the space is not cozy or lacking. Essentially that mirror is too small in relation to the size of the couch and just hanging it by itself will not be enough, you will need to add more items to the arrangement. If the mirrror is centered you have no choice but to add left and right of it which makes the arrangement too busy. Further to complicate things it is hung too high so even when you added the other items still doesnt look right. The right thing to do is move the mirror to a side and lower and add something else on the other side to balance it. Or fill in the space bellow it and to the side with items on a shelf. Many times clients notice something is not quite perfect and request help. Much like going to the doctor with your symptoms, it takes a trained eye to diagnose the problem and find a solution. That being said I believe it is very important to also explain to the client the reasoning behind it, hence my above explanation...haha
