Narrow garden/box window, good idea?

Does anyone have photos or experience with a box/garden window that's taller than it is wide? We're considering getting a 30"x42" garden window but only have experience with a square garden window and are concerned it'd look weird if it were narrow.

Background:

We currently have a box window in our kitchen that's about 4x4 ft (and a standard depth) above the sink. The view is not great the blank side of a neighbor's garage 10 feet away), so being able to have plants and knick-knacks really helps make doing the dishes more pleasant.

We're planning a kitchen remodel and we definitely want a box window above the sink in our new kitchen. We're playing around with the position and dimension of things and are considering adding another window on that wall, and making it a box-window as well for symetry (and also because the view there is similarly lackluster). The thing is, we don't have enough room for two 4x4 ft garden windows /and/ a rangetop on the same wall, at least not without it looking really weird. Hence our consideration of narrower box/garden windows.

Thanks in advance for any help!
