Which Kitchen Faucet Did You Choose? - 3
Comments (88)We got one of the delta's touch20 for an adjoining powder room. We have had nearly every part replaced and have yet to get it to function with touch less feature! Responsive support hotline but still not functioning. We may have to eat the cost of it since it was purchased prior to jan demo. Ugh! (We need touch less since we raw feed our dog). My DH refuses to chalk it off as a loss at this point, so he has his own little project to focus on. :-)...See MoreWhich bridge faucet would you pick?
Comments (21)@kmcg, I love having two handles---and thought we'd hate it when we first moved into our house. Instead, we chose the same style faucet for the remodel! We do have our hot water heater set at a pretty moderate temperature (enough for nice hot showers but low enough that it can't scald). So that means we can (and do) turn just the hot tap on when we want warm water, and just the cold tap on for cold. I rarely mix the two unless I'm running a big sink full of water for something or need lukewarm water for bread, so it effectively functions as a single handle faucet for most uses. If you keep your heater on a higher setting, you'd probably be mixing the two more. Our new faucet also has levers on the top of the faucet (like the two here), whereas the old one had cross handles on the front. I prefer the cross handles aesthetically and had fully intended to replace the levers (which just happened to be what came with our model faucet, since unlike most of the Chicago faucets in only came in one version...yay California regulations!) But I've found I really prefer the levers functionally, so we're keeping them. We have a bungalow-style kitchen, so the traditional look fits in nicely with the aesthetic (mix of white inset and gray frameless, soapstone counters, and white cast iron sink)....See MoreKohler Bellara Pull Down Faucet or Delata Leland Pull Down Faucet
Comments (3)i have the delta trinsic with no problems at all. i love the faucet but what really sold me on delta is the customer service. i have a 15 year old house with builder grade delta shower faucet hardware. i called delta because one shower handle was cloudy and they sent me a new one immediately. i also called to get a new spout with the same wonderful cs and part sent for free. i am a delta fan!...See MorePull-down/Pull-out Kitchen Faucet Hoses
Comments (2)I can't post pics, but will suggest you get the stainless braided hose on the faucet...and the washing machine. I really do not like the high rise faucets that have a 90* bend in them. When they leak at the sprayer head, which is just a threaded connection and can loosen over time, the water will leak back down the faucet tube into the cabinet below the sink. You may not see it and you end up with damage. I have a kitchen faucet with the 180* bend so the nozzle is pointing down. If it leaks it leaks into the sink. I made the mistake of getting one of the horizon units for the laundry sink and I find myself, after a couple incidents, looking under that sink all the time. I am going to change that faucet out....See MoreSammy
