Hi Scott. I'm happy for you that you got blooms. They are nice. Sorry to hear about the ants. Bugs are happening to alot of us right now. Mike started a thread on how do we each handle our bug problem. Hopefully many will reply and I can learn whats best to get rid of mine. I saw in your profile that your b-day was oct. 16th. Happy late Birthday. Yes ,I thought you were female. I set up hubbies account, then he had his stoke and he can't type, so I use it. I like your pics. Lonny (hubby) likes doubles, I like singles. I think they are prettier, I like the big blooms.Simpler and easyier to take care of. At least in my oppinion. Share all the pics you like. :) Kim

As always, when you post your photos, I enjoy all of them tremendously. Everything looks so healthy and abundant. It is so pleasing to see so many daylilies blooming, so keep the photos coming! As for favorites, it's always a struggle to pick just one or two when they're all so deserving. But I would say that it was the yellows that made me look several times. Marie Hooper Memorial (I love large blooms), Omomuki (a dazzling yellow and all-star performer) and Carib. Whipped Cream. I had almost gotten the latter one but hesitated because it is registered at just 19 inches and I like tall daylilies.

Our younger, really active baby had this Activity Garden. It didn’t have all the bells and whistles the newer ones have, but it was good for him because it let him focus. His favorite thing was just to open the gate, walk through, close the gate, check the mail, open the gate, walk back, close the gate. We got it from a rummage sale, and when he was finally ready to part with it we eased the pain by giving it to the church nursery, where he could show the babies how to use it lol. He’s 20 and that activity garden is still a favorite in the nursery! (Because it doesn’t have too many books and crannies, it is easy to keep clean.) edited to add, we got a train table that was a nice, stained and sealed wood, instead of a highly-kid-centric design. The Isle or Sodor-design top could be wrapped in wrapping paper for a change of pace. It stayed set up for years, transitioning to Lego, board games, puzzles, by day, and coffee table by night, because it matched the family room decor.
