I treated myself to a fun and challenging 1,000 piecer from Ravensburger. They make a nice puzzle. All the pieces interlock.

jrb451, I leave my pineapple plants outside all year, and when they get to a certain size, I plant them in the ground. When the pineapples are almost ripe, I have to put wire mesh around them, to protect them from varmints. Here's what it looks like in bloom, with lots of tiny purple flowers. This is my favorite stage.

Each piece of the snowman is magnet backed. my GS's like to come in and "rearrange" his face, etc. to see how quickly I notice. ( hat upside down, carrot coming out of the side of his face, scarf upside down, etc., etc.) You need a white metal door for him.

Love that puzzle, Annie. Here is my latest. A Springbok brand, which is normally a good quality puzzle, but this one must have been cut with very dull blades. Had to pull apart many pieces, and the edges of each piece were rough making the fit poor. Had to practically pound them in place. However, I did love the subject and the challenge.

I tried a NEW-to-me chocolate chip cookie recipe yesterday. It was pretty good! I'm at high altitude, 7400'....so getting cookies that don't flatten out is a struggle.

If we had a Wow! button, I would have awarded it to Nhbaskets and Lars. You have a little cutie there, Michele. The second picture makes it look like he is caroling in front of the tree.

I'm going for a second entry. I just picked up this cute little truck/tree cookie jar from a woman in my town. I like to have things like this under my tree as there are so few actual presents. I love it.

We have a little electrical heater "fireplace" like that which was a great addition to our motorhome when we were living in it. We turn it on occasionally in the house. Mia loves to lay in front of it.

My best friend was with us for Christmas and took lots of pictures of Mia and gave them all to me. She happily shared!

Annie, yes, it's a little electric heater I bought online from someone and when it came, it came from Walmart! So I paid about $10 more than I needed to. :)

You can google wood burning electric heater, I think, and find them.
