Design Dilemma Paint Bedroom

bedroom basement pain? accent wall or 1 color

The basement bedroom has no windows average size bedroom. Trayed ceiling. The bedroom side tables are dark with rose colored handles and ceiling light is rose colored glass? 4 questions
Suggestions on paint color(s)
Paint accent wall paint color or no accent color
Does this chandelier does it work? (9ft ceiling)
Will the painting work in this room?

the mains area of the basement is white ( polar white

It should not be a bedroom if it’s in a basement without any windows. Fire hazard.

whenicit, Thanks, but I need LOTS of help! The other advantage to the 2nd layout in BR1 is that the headboard is rather high and if I put it along the wall, it won't block the windows which would probably be better. I'll see about adding seating when I get the beds assembled. We may have room and it would give me a project to scour antique shops. That is what I'm planning on doing for a nightstand in the second bedroom. A little shabby/chic, beachy. I was going to look through some "Real Simple" magazines for inspiration. I'm not sure exactly what I want yet, but I though a "weathered" table, perhaps in a fun color, would go nicely with the iron bed. ajsmama, Thank you for the suggestion on BR1. I agree that swaping the nightstand is much better. On BR2, I think I could move the dresser closer to the door. The only think I actually don't like about the dresser in that position in general is that I'm not fond of the look of it from the side, but no mater how far forward or backward it is, I'm going to have that problem... ok, moved some things around. Again, sorry for the bad pictures, the lighting was not the best but I just won't have a chance to do this for the next week. The wall with the mirror has the doorway in it so I actually lose space. Then the main walkway would be right next to the bed. The other wall with what looks to be a dresser (small bookcase) has closet doors and inswing of entry door. So the beds are best on the wall they are on. I put the large picture where the mirror was originally. Beds separated with same tables with table lamps and mirror moved Table in between beds with a chair in the corner which could be replaced with a long narrow table or floating shelf. That's about the furthest that I want to block the windows as we're on acreage and have a nice view I even tried the small prints above the headboards but they don't work for me. Cawaps, thank you for the mock up. I think I'm still leaning towards oval frames if I can find ones I like. 1 pinkmountain, lol. Thank you again, everyone.

I know this sounds odd, but I would remove the final pointy ends from the posts on the bed, as on your first inspiration photo. To me it looks very odd. I would definitely do simple curtain panels reaching to the floor and also a rug to give some softness to this room with so much wood. Perhaps very light blue walls with a green and cream bedspread and cream curtains.

Not the right fixture and this is not an actual bedroom to code That does not look like a 9’ ceiling but it could just be the angle of the picture.

Ok I understand it’s not to code for a bedroom. It only going to used for extra guest bedroom rarely. Will try to get better angle.

You already have an accent wall that is the only one and as for wall color what is the bedding that IMO is what drives wall color.

Even if only used for the occasional guest, I implore you to invest in an egress window. Fires can break out at any time of day or night and anyone in the basement would need an escape route.
Check with your insurance company regarding room/space use and egress.

Add egress and paint everything the same color, what ever color that is.

I agree paint the whole room the same color. Something light and airy. Maybe a blue gray
