Irrigation system: can I run 3/4 inch PVC pipe from 1/2 inch pipe
Comments (4)I have 10 gpm flow (measured at a peak time...8am on a hot day). Any recommendations on using 1/2" vs 3/4" (option #1 or #3 above)? I like 1/2" because my hose bib and sprinkler heads are 1/2" and it's simple. Yet I like 3/4" since it gives room for expansion (though now unforeseen) and small extra cost. I just wonder if there are any potential disadvantages to using 3/4" in this application?...See MoreAlready installed Hansgrohe 3/4-Inch iBox..can i run 2
Comments (3)Do you also have the Quattro or the Trio diverter? I think you need a diverter. Have you looked at the Hansgrohe brochure that is on their website? It has a LOT of shower configurations. Here is a quote for the Quattro: "Quattro 3-Way Diverter Selects between three functions or a combination of any two". I think the Trio selects from any 2 functions or combo. But I am not sure about the combo part of this equation. I will post a link to the webpage with the downloadable brochure. The link will be at the bottom. In my pending setup I have the following: 1) ibox x2 2) quattro diverter (can select any 2 functions to run at the same time out of 3 options) 3) hand shower on bar 4) Raindance E 420 AIR 2-Jet Showerhead (this is where the second ibox goes) Hope this helps somewhat. Maybe someone else will have more experience than I. Here is another GW thread that has a lot of info but not sure if it has the info you've asked for. http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/bath/msg0611065411093.html Here is a link that might be useful: Ibox Universal Plus Hansgrohe...See More1/2 inch micro blinds???
Comments (2)Are you sure a roller shade can be inside mounted in that space? When I was looking for blinds/shades it seems that roller shades required a more substantial recess to accomodate the fabric when they were rolled up. My choices were pretty much limited to mini-blinds or honeycomb shades. I went with the honeycombs just to have something different, but quite honestly, I prefer the functionality of the blinds. Totally Confused...See More1/2 inch or 3/4 inch pvc?
Comments (4)I use 1/2 pvc on all my temporary low tunnels. I put a 3/8 rebar stake 18" long in ground with 6" up put pvc over it and bend it around to the stake about 5' over. I space about 3' apart depending on length of tunnel. The additional cost is not much to go with 3/4" and you could use 1/2 rebar stakes. I start using plastic spring clamps for my temp low tunnels. I have used 3/4 inch black plastic pipe slit it and it will fit over the pipe and plastic but are hard to put on in cold weather. the spring clamps are cheap and work good for the temp tunnels. that will only be up a month or 2. I also cut 10' pipe in half and make real low tunnels about 30" wide. Plastic? I now use green house plastic but for temp tunnels 6 mil clear will serve the purpose and is easy to get , cheap serves the purpose rather than ordering and waiting for greenhouse grade. I have bought remnants for my temp tunnels and saved a lot. Grower Supply and AM Leonard have some not sure of other sources....See Moresalonva
