Why are you changing from front to side entry?

From the front aesthetic of the house, windows of the same size/shape would look best but then thats leaving the inside of your garage on display.

SashaDog, we are building my husband a shop to the left of the photo frame. So the garage is getting flipped to access both using a single driveway. We will also be installing a single 16’ door, as he isn’t comfortable pulling the truck through the narrow door.

So the house windows are sort of huge, they’re 36x69”. Similar proportions, just smaller?

So... the windows will be in what will still be a garage?

You could save a few bucks and just leave the two doors where they are with the windows as is and still add a single very wide garage door on the end -- it increases your options rather than limits them. If you need to build a wall inside to add countertop/worktop cabinets, you could still do so ...though that might block one or both of the doors ... or add it on the other side.

You could leave the current driveway as is for parking and add a parallel driveway to reach the side entrance. Just in front of the house, you could add concrete between them to create a "U" (upside "U") so you would have a half circle driveway and could literally drive in one drive way and out the other.

Alternately:

What you do depends upon what will be needed within the shop -- amount of natural light and/or blank wall space for building storage/countertop/workspace along a wall, whether or not the size of the garage should be enlarged by extending the left end of the house.

Is the front of the house facing north or south or east or wet -- will sunlight go directly into the windows and, if so, what time of day?

How much natural light will shine in from other sides and is a lot or little natural light desirable?

Do you want fixed windows or do the windows need to open?

Is the back wall of the garage brick or the same siding as the end?

Would it be desirable to move the two front garage doors to the back of the house? -- or just move ONE of the garage doors to the back wall so it is directly across from the other garage door you do leave on the front -- a drive thru garage or just a great breezeway to enable dust/fumes from the shop/garage to exit when both doors are open?

If you move the one garage door to the back of the garage across from one of the garage doors in the front, you might consider adding a "sliding screen door" that would enable you to close/lock access to the shop (from neighborhood children that might be curious but could get hurt in a shop) -- but leave airflow for the shop.

That would leave only the one garage door to replace with a window or, with the original garage doors front and back with windows, perhaps just replace the second garage door with a solid wall -- literally build in your storage for your shop as you build your wall to cover the opening.

You could leave the garage doors as is for the winter but go ahead and add the wider garage door on the end for the shop ... then use the shop for a time and see what changes would be most practical -- where sunlight, air flow, ingress/egress is actually needed for how the shop will be used before deciding what to do with the front garage doors -- something that, to me, makes the most sense ... and it spreads out the cost a bit, too.

Note: If you think you do need to add to the left end of the house to enlarge the garage, then now would be the time to do so before the end door is added. IF you add about the width of one of the existing doors to the left end of the house/garage and then leave the garage door closest to the house (whether or not you move the other garage door to a position across from it ), you could both still use the garage when the part nearest the house isn't needed for whatever the in tended purpose of the shop?

I would get five (an uneven number) of shorter windows in a similar proportion (narrow casements?). And line them up next to each other, as it they are above a counter inside your room/garage. Centered on the wall that currently has your garage doors. I would suggest that you tear out the pavement immediately in front of the wall so that it doesn’t look like this was the entrance to the garage. Create a planting bed there, or...build up a planting bed (protecting the facade of your room from moisture and dirt) and landscape the front wall...with shrubbery, etc. So it doesn’t appear to be a former garage.

We have a 3 car garage side entrance and have 2 windows in the front of the house, they are 53x63. (don't mind the sidewalk, my pictures are always a work in progress lol.)

I would place 4 tall/narrow windows in place - each about the width of the garage's existing window (4 squares wide) and the length of you houses windows. I would do 2 non operable 2 operable.

I suggest that you coordinate plans for the new building with those for your garage conversion. You will want the whole complex to look planned, not merely a house with an ill-matching adjacent building.
