Have: Lamium galeobdolon Hermann's pride--vinca major variegata--
Comments (0)Plus soapwort and liriope-solid green with purple flowers. I have tons of these. The vinca is great in hanging baskets with other items as well as beautiful groundcover. Make me an offer. My wish list is somewhat outdated. Many things I had died in the last couple years (ill and not into taking care of things properly). Ready for new beginning this year and some new things-even common if don't already have! Thanks, Melinda...See MoreOT pics: Pride of Barbados
Comments (11)Wow, You all know your trees :) SJN, you're right it is also known as the Mexican Bird of Paradise. :) Karyn, you're right, the Royal Poinciana is like the Big Brother of the P.O.B aka: Mexican Bird of Paradise. Here I thought I found a unique plant. ROFL :) Lucy, If I get any seeds this year I will share :). HD sold this one at $15. We've had those leftover bricks for I don't know how many years and I decide to use them this year. I was just experimenting using them around the nursery pots. But hey, if they look good I may leave them there. The pool LOL yep, it's rather hard to take pics without getting the pool in there. It's right spack in the middle. Deb...See MorePride of Barbados
Comments (7)In Canyon Lake in a cold spot. Mine have just this week poked its heads up. Very slow coming back this year but considering the wet and abnormally cool spring not all that suprising. I would consider planting the new one in another area if you have space and if the old one doesn't come up plant seed from your new one to this area. I find this such a great summer performer that I have few areas given to it heat loving qualities. Just my thoughts. Good Luck and Happy Growing David...See MoreF&P Smart Drive, PRIDE 5.5
Comments (2)What is the specific model number of your machine? Pride is a marketing line designation, not so much a model numbering. That being said, the first action upon reaching rinse should be to drain the wash water. A dead pump would prevent it from doing so. Look under the machine at the pump for visual evidence of failure ... such as rusting/mineral deposits from leaking, try turning it by hand via the cooling fan to check if it's seized ... you may be able to break it loose enough to run, although it probably should be replaced if so....See More- 5 years ago
