Is the sofa leather? If so, choose fabric chairs. I think you can go warm, but maybe not that dark.

I’d want to know the rug BEFORE you finalize sofa and lounge chairs.

I don’t see cool, but what is the wall color and rug like? To me the issue is with 3 items: floor, chair and coffee table and the need to compliment them all/pull the room together - I think a grey chair would do the trick.

I like everything but those leather chairs next to the floor. A rug can change a lot of that.

I'd do gray leather and then work my accents around gray and cream.

We have camel chairs and love them. They add a bit of warmth. From West Elm.

Thank you for the advice everyone! We have already purchased the cream sectional and gray wood table. But we don’t have a rug in there yet. It’s a brand new home so we are slowly designing it.

What a lovely space and I believe even more so that a grey chair will be a good choice; it will work with wall color, fireplace surround and island...all the while, keeping room light. Below is the feeling I would recommend (although your couch is not grey)

It looks like you have lots of room and from your chair example, seems like you want a comfy chair. Consider a chair and a half and one below comes in 15 colors (imagine it with a cashmere throw or a cushion and a great rug)
