I never heard of A535 cream, but you have my sympathy on the back pain. I hope your treatment helps it resolve soon.

I don't know what A535 cream is, but if it helps with pain, I'd like some. I'm using Lidocaine patches and cream to make my leg pain tolerable, but I'm not sleeping well at all.

It's analgesic cream for muscle pain relief.

Fun, I don't know the nature of your leg problem, but per my doctor, I've started taking two Tylenol PM at night for a pinched nerve in my neck. It causes pain in my shoulder blade and down my arm. The Tylenol PM helps quite a bit, especially when paired with two ibuprofen which helps with the inflammation. Depending on your situation, the cream might be better if you can find it. I like to avoid ingesting medications when I can.

Rub A535 Medicinal Ingredients (w/w): Methyl Salicylate 21%, Camphor 4.0%, Menthol 3%, Eucalyptus Essential Oil 0.75%

Basically the same thing as WalMart Equate Ultra Strength Pain Relief Cream.

WalMart cream ingredients:

• Active ingredients: camphor 4%, menthol 10%, methyl salicylate 30%
• Compare to Ultra-Strength Bengay active ingredients*

Ice is better for back pain. Heat only inflames an area that is already inflamed. . ( I know...we've all had this conversation before )

Salonpas 4% lidocaine patches have helped me at night for the last two years -- not *every* night, but often enough that I stock up when Costco has them on special. Good thing I saved my old nylon 'granny' panties to keep the patches from bunching up under my nightgowns.

I've got an ice pack on it now. It'll be more comfortable once it softens a bit, I hope.

I always have an afghan and a good book to go with an ice pack. 😉 A couple cookies help.

Thanks, Bluebell. Like you, I try to avoid ingesting medication, particularly NSAIDs, but today I took some ibuprofen when I needed a break from the pain. I find that Tylenol doesn't help as much, but it is certainly easier on one's liver and kidneys than ibuprofen.
