Rant: holiday decorations in shared public spaces

I live in a small apartment building that was once a large house. It's now split up into four apartments. Today one of my neighbors took it upon themselves to decorate the shared hallway. They did a terrible job, but that's not the point. I'm fine with them putting something up on their front door, but it's just ridiculous that I now have to walk through this space full of THEIR decorations. To make matters worse, one of my other neighbors texted me to say "isn't it great that so-and-so decorated the hall?" Then told me they'll be putting up wreaths on and around the building.
It may be almost the last day of November, but this is overkill and too soon. Besides the fact that I don't decorate my apartment for any holidays because I live alone - why bother putting crap up just to take it down? - I don't even celebrate Christmas. But now I have to walk in and out of an ugly, tacky holiday scene every day.
Just shoot me.
