I never did settle on anything for A2, tried to come up with something about contact sports, boxers, sports ring, etc., nothing worked. Don't think I'd have ever figured it out. 'Sixteen' was my first guess for A3, then thought that couldn't be right. (Glad to see others came up with the same thing.) and changed my mind to 'Dean's list'. Had 'Follow the dots' for B3, close enough? And 'One Day at a Time" for D1, and that song has been going through my mind ever since. Never did get D3, even with the hints. All I could see was something to do with cards, but I don't know enough card game terms, so thought maybe 'Jack of Diamonds'. But knew from the clues that that was wrong. (But I like it better than the real answer.) And the bonus gave me some trouble, too, until I realized I was reading the 'o' as a zero. Then it got easy. This was really a good puzzle, a good mix all the way from easy to durned near impossible. At first glance it looked like it was going to be really tough, but after a closer look, some were pretty easy. Lots of fun, as always, thanks, Jasdip! Rusty

Now I'm beginning to have serious concerns about my mental status. I did get all the 'regular' puzzle right, so there is that. And even though I looked at the bonus and saw the two words, 'hand' and 'hen', never once did I come even close to changing 'hen' to 'bird'. In my own defense, I will say that while I did grow up on a farm, we never EVER referred to our hens (and we often had a lot of them!) as 'birds'. They were chickens! Rusty

What bothers me about this is that the first one seems to suggest "somewheres," while that is not a word. The correct word is "somewhere." I cringe every time I hear anyone say "somewheres."

There's no space between them. Technically they should look like this - 2 TO - but when you put them together they look like this - 2TO.

I also noticed the multiple "somewheres" in No. 1, couldn't figure 3, thought 4 to be "just climbing the wall", couldn't figure 5 and was searching for something related to "underseas" for 6.

Not a very good result, today.

At first I thought 'tutu' for #3, then decided '2 by 2'. Wrong again. I guess it could actually be either one, depends on what answer whoever created the puzzle had in mind. 'They', as in puzzle creators, probably do quirky little things with the puzzles on purpose. To make us think more, maybe.
