Don’t get #6 although I can see one answer (that is likely wrong).

I also have two or three answers for #1 that seem equally valid (there are two beds, after all) but do not have an answer for #6. I have a guess for #6, but it seems to be a bit of a stretch and is probably not correct, however "stretch" has nothing to do with my answer, even though the letters appear to be stretched.

We got them all. We think. I couldn't guess 6, but my child got it. They didn't get 3 or 4, but I did. Doing it together might be "cheating", but I sure as heck will never get the answers myself!

Rob, that’s not cheating! The point of brain teasers like this is to make your brain work! (I also have no qualms using a dictionary, almanac, or Google when doing crosswords. That’s also brainwork, and I learn something!)

I’m really annoyed I didn’t get 4. For 6 I had “a tight race“ and I’m going to invoke the skibby rule for that one and award myself full credit. The rest I got.

Add 'twin beds' to the possible answers for #1. I gave up on #6.

I waffled on close race and tight race, and agree on the Skibby rule. For #1, twin beds didn’t occur to me, just double bed, and I like it.

Ha! I said twin beds for #1 and thought it could be double bed. For #6 I thought it might be a big race. Guess I have run too many races.

I said twin beds for #1 as well because it was identical. Maybe using twin instead of double is a regional thing?
