If it were mine, I would go for the salmon/coral looking color. But I'm a high activity person who likes noisy color, laughter and lovely music all together to bring about spontaneous happy.....but for the more subdued and a little less warm than coral but definitely not as cold as blue, I suggest BM Mojave Desert. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/mohavedesert There is a blue and some lovely other colors of which you could find pillows to raise or lower the temperature. Distance SW blue walls, Pure White SW ceiling The rug will be the ground and the walls will be stormy blue! Looks so good with dark wood.

We went with the Snowdrift. I like it-initially it looked mintier than I wanted but it darkened some as it dried. And here’s a bad picture with cute cats of our quilt, made by my mom :)

Thank you. ljangell44: I actually tried to pick up a paint chip for agreeable gray (for another room) at SW when I was there, they were all out...popular color!! On my to do list to get back there. Interesting, I had never considered gray for the room, but I think it may compliment the yellow and not close in the room...will check it out. Thanks! BlueberryBundtcake: Tired of it and want a change. Funny, I always loved the warmth of it, but now after some renovations over the years all of the stain on various doors and windows do not match and it bugs me. Understood that it will be difficult to change!
