Depends on what you're into. I'm a Texas country girl (versus Nashville country) and love folky and rootsy stuff like Robert Earl Keen, Steve Earle, Turnpike Troubadours, and Reckless Kelly. I find Pandora useful for finding new artists since it will play songs similar to those you already like.

Mean Mary if you like banjo is one to listen to. Home Free does man of constant sorrow, which we like. Even the Stones did some country. Like to be unconventional here. Thunderstruck by Steven’n’Seagulls is interesting to say the least, lol

Johnny Cash must fit your listening pleasure. Sounds like you like what I call “true country”. Roy Clark, Patsy Cline, Buck Owens, Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Pride. You would have enjoyed the PBS country music documentary that ran I last fall (I think). You may actually find some of the Celtic Music to your liking. Try North Sea Gas out of Scotland. Unfortunately Galley Rats (from Maine) has split up since doing their one album a few years ago. Men of the Deeps is out of Nova Scotia.
