Painting Trim and Doors in Basement Finish

Work on our basement started a few months ago and finally I will be ready to paint in the coming week or so. I am looking for some advice and I will admit that I don't have the highest standards when it comes to paint.

For the ceiling, I will be painting it using flat white ceiling paint. The walls will be a light gray in eggshell. Now, for my questions:

- For the baseboards and molding, I plan to use semi-gloss. I don't fully remember (hence my post) but in the past I think i just used the ultra white base the semi-gloss came in rather than getting it mixed at all. Will this look decent?

- For the doors and door trim, can I use the same paint as the baseboard/molding paint or should I go lighter? Is there a standard approach? I looked around my house and see instances of the baseboard being a slightly brighter white compared to the door and door trim. I guess there's also the window trim. I was planning on making it the same color as the baseboards.

Thanks!
