any ideas what to do/put on the wall?

Any ideas on what I should put in the long and short wall. We are going with a modern farmhouse theme. Any suggestions are appreciated.

In my opinion, a long wall should have a variety of height items in order to keep it interesting. I have one such wall in my condo. I have an entertainment center that is five foot tall, then a vertical row of one foot framed prints (whose height matches the entertainment center), then an upholstered bench that is two feet tall, then a secretary desk that is four foot tall (with framed prints at five foot tall above that). On the short wall, how about a storage unit or open shelving?

Suggestion 1, get a TV stand for under the TV and lower the TV.

You have to make the room function, so you have to tell us what you will be doing in this room, what furniture you will have in the room and a floor plan with dimensions.

We like the U, but my better half liked the sink where the range is better. In the past, the window in our kitchen went to about 10" off the floor, and of course there was no counter there. The fridge was in the same place with a horrible angled pantry cabinet beside it. Then another angled cabinet/DW/sink/corner cabinet wrapping around where the range is now to the old range, which is now where the sink is. We swapped the range and sink to a) make it easier to vent (exterior wall) and b) make it look better. We had also been toying with blowing the entire wall out where the sink is and having a peninsula there. We left the wall and just did a pass through above the sink, like a window. So we always had a decent triangle, but the additional 3 feet of counter and base cabinet is a HUGE improvement. We also went from having 3 drawers in the entire kitchen to almost entirely drawers. Only spot there isn't drawers is the blind corner (LeMans) and under the sink. The counter under the window is now the most used spot in the kitchen.

You have such a beautiful home!!! I love all the windows. I agree with the idea of one large painting on the wall, something keeping with the nature theme (that giant horse painting or landscape paintings). In my experience it takes time to find art I love and it's an investment. I wonder if the white chairs are the best choice here. The photo that Cheryl Smith posted has a different feel, in part, due to the furniture. I think it's the right choice to have the chair contrast w/ the sofa and loveseat. Maybe dark brown leather or ? (I'm cringing as I type this since I'm a vegetarian and try to avoid leather stuff, but it may work in your home).

I created this mock up as a concept for this space. You can pick different styles but these are elements. I couldn’t orient the fixture and table properly due to limitations of software but the table would sit length wise along window and the linear chandelier would turn lengthwise over table too. Do 3-4 mirrors rather than whole wall. TIP: smaller mirror tiles are extremely difficult to place on wall effectively. Leveling, imprecise sizing and wall surface make mounting a very time consuming and difficult task especially on that size wall. I would not recommend it.
