Simply Charming is one of my favorites. It hasn't multiplied very well, so I moved it this fall. I hope it will perform better in its new place.

Mississippi Magistrate is another Salter bicolor that has good bud count but multiplies slowly.

Lovely blooms, Debra! My favorite here is Mississippi Magistrate, I like the big green throat. I’ve been doing my post adding 2-3 photos and then edit that post and add a few more, has worked for me so far, haven’t lost anything.......yet.

Awesome Artist had its first blooms this season.

Little Jetsetter, a lovely small bitone.

Magic Lake has been in the garden for a few years. It’s growing in a less than ideal spot and has done well despite that.

Sea Dragon is one of my favorites. It draws your attention immediately.

Stephanie Returns has been a great performer here.

Howdy is among the first handful of daylilies put in my garden. It blooms in 80% shade here. It did have a less than ideal season this past summer.

Toward the Blue has had two bloom seasons and has been a great performer so far, good increase too.

Celeste - I don't know where one could find Simply Charmed. I got it several years ago from Daylilies Buy George. George was selling grandmother Reba Ridaught's daylilies to make extra money while he was in college. Once he graduated, he stopped selling. The Salters no longer have it shown on their webisite, but you might want to contact them in the spring and see if they have any to sell. Your Chinese Water Lily is gorgeous!

All of these are beautiful. I do love a good bitone. Simple Charming is such a beauty. It's too bad that it's not readily available. The Salters just do not list their older varieties on their webside. Stephanie Returns is another that catches my eye. I am intrigued by reverse bicolors.

We grow quite a few but I don't have the time right now to post very many. I am posting the ones that are new to the garden this year. I will post more later.

Una de Gato was planted fall of 2019 and came through the winter fine. For those who know Spanish, the translation is Cat's Claw. There should be that little squiggly line over the n but for some reason the database can't include it.

Impassioned was new this spring. I think it is a very pretty rose pink.

Kerfuffle was also new this season. It is a small flower and a reverse bicolor. I am really excited about this one.

Call off the Search was not new this year. It's a good performer here.

I don’t have enough of these to fight for with Houzz! I agree with everyone that Simply Charming deserves its name, Debra. Ironically I ordered that one from the same source one year. My plants were pitiful in that order-due to nature’s wrath on the gardens there-maybe the last year they sold? I think they only charged postage; however most plants did die, including this one. I never knew what I missed until I see Debra post hers!!!

Lots of pretty ones here-too many to list favorites-and some very striking ones in this bunch. And the seedlings are so pretty.

Here are a few more bitones.

Lillian's Tears and Roses is one of my favorite small ones. It is not as pink as this picture shows.

I love the watermark with a bitone as in Patricia Ann's Calliopsis.

Piece of the Action is more toward Bob's tastes.

Ramming Speed is a great grower, but I am not a big fan of it.

Sihir is probably my favorite of all the ones we got from Canadian hybridizers. This one is from Daniel Matton.

As you might imagine, Spirit of Halloween is one of Bob's favorites. It's not one of our better growers though. It could be because it's southern bred or because it is in one of the shadier areas of the garden. There is a silver maple tree near the bed. That tree will be cut down tomorrow (it's in bad shape--dying on one half of the tree).

Tears of a Clown is an offspring of the much beloved Clown Parade.

We are hoping for a decent bud count on this seedling. It is Dragon Fang X Horns.

Looking at what we have, I think we need some purple bicolors.

Debra, yes, Wizard's Wish bloomed late for me, and still had a few blooms in early Sept. I love a late bloomer that is pretty, all of mine til this year were orange/red or yellow, and plain.
