Another chair fabric question - reupholstering edition.

I have had this chair & ottoman for 30+ years and it was last reupolstered about 15 years ago and used in my DD's room. After much indecision about whether to keep, sell or give away, I have decided to reupholster yet again. I was all set to use a performance linen in a neutral tone (white, off-white, beige, greige) but I cannot get a fabric out of my head and it's just too $$$. Here is the chair:

The cushions look wonky from this angle but I was trying to get a sense of how much I can beef up the chair cushion. I want to add about 2 inches to the seat and ottoman height and I think it will work.

Anyway, the fabric I cannot get out of my head is Cowtan & Tout's Rose & Hydrangea in Platinum. I have not seen it for less than $140/yd.

My questions are: a) should I stick with a performance linen in a solid neutral and bring in color/texture with a lumbar pillow? b) should I try to find a dupe for this neutral linen chintz? or c) do something else entirely?
