Where to find percale split king sheet sets?

I have a new bed and I am having a hard time finding split king sheets, especially percale ones. I bought a set from Lands' End but they are sateen, not percale like I'd like. I need the split king because I got adjustable bases and the bases and mattresses need to be able to move independently.

I’m pretty sure that you can use 2 twin fitted sheets, can’t you?

Not regular twins, a pair of Twin XL make up a European King. IDK if Martha Stewart makes the XL, but I like their percale. I think it's a 420 count percale.

You need a pair of fitted Twin XL bottoms plus a regular European King (not California King) flat top sheet.

Sometimes I wonder why we went with this split king bed LOL. It seemed like a perfect solution because my husband suffers from reflux and can pop his side up, but I swear it messes with the snuggle factor because I can always feel that split. My girlfriend has the "split head" king that looks like a tooth but only splits half way (I attached a picture below). She says she can feel the split too when she snuggles. And sheets my goodness just add another variable to the entire decision. I had to buy the split king cooling lyocell sheets from the mattress company and those cost $200. Granted, after spending a million dollars on this mattress and base it may not seem like a lot, but I still can't wrap my head around $200 for these "special sheets" when I paid half as much for my favorite super duper soft PeachSkinSheets for my old king bed. They were twice as soft and still kept my sweaty husband cool and dry (bless his precious heart). They just came out with a five piece split king sheet set that is under $100 but there are only two colors ...white and cream and I really need more of a wedgewood gray-blue :-( :-(. I've never tried the Target brand, but it sounds like they only have them at certain times during the year? << :-( I just checked online and Target doesn't have any listed right now>>. Even though they don't have my color, I think that I'm going to have to cave in and get a white set. Besides, white goes with everything (see, I can justify anything!). I am hoping they stay put but in case they don't, I have my back up Sheet Suspenders.....aha! Problem solved. Maybe I'll stick to white sheets, but I'd really like to match (or a few shades lighter) the headboard for the bedskirt! I am not sure if I prefer percale or sateen yet - I hate clingy sheets but I hate scratchy sheets even more. So far I haven't found any I am very happy with after a few washes. Are wrinkle free sheets treated with something or are they not 100% cotton? I find sheets confusing. Here is the bedroom so far... with the new headboard. Will be hanging pictures with silver frames. The bench at the foot of the bed is for our elderly kitty to use to get up on the bed, and for his little bed :) I am trying to move away from brown, which we had a lot of in our last place - but furniture is very dark brown. The headboard looks a bit brownish in this pic but it's more grey than brown.

I have a split-king Sleep Number where the "twins" can be raised or lowered at both the head and the feet, with motion, too. So far, I've only purchased the Sleep Number fitted sheets because I bought several sets on sale. The Sleep Number brands have a separate extra band of elastic that stretches diagonally across each corner, in addition to fitted corners. Regular fitted sheets don't come with that band of elastic. However, if you have a sewing machine, you could attach your own band of elastic to non-SN fitted sheets. For sizing of the twin, you want Twin XL or Twin Long, depending on the wording of the brand of sheets. For top sheets, blankets, duvet covers, coverlets, etc. I buy regular King size from any store.

I have some of the Target Threshold percales. One set was returned a month later as the fitted split down the middle, another was returned several months later falling apart at the elastic. Some of the print ones are rarely used but are ok...a white fitted that's used all the time is shredding at the elastic corners..Threshold has several makers, some are made in China and some in India. some of the exact sheets feel ok in the package and some feel like parachute fabric. Although with sheets now being treated with different chemicals like insecticide you really can't tell how a sheet will really feel until its had a number of good washes. All in all most of the Threshold sheets are worth buying, they arnt expensive so I guess if you use them regularly and they last a year its all good. Personally I feel sheets should be an investment, buy a few really good quality sheets and your set. I only use vintage percales, 100% long staple cotton....love them.

Yes, you need a pair of Twin XL fitted sheets for the bottom. And a regular king flat sheet for the top. It's not easy to find anything except a set of king sheets so you may have to buy the fitted sheets separately.

I bought mine from Red Land Cotton, and they were kind enough to sell me the Twin XL sheets separately, plus a flat sheet and pillow cases separately as well. I called them and they fixed me up. I was a repeat customer, having bought a queen set previously as well as a baby gift. They are not cheap but the sheets are wonderful and well made.

I just looked on Amazon split king percale and found several. You just have to wade through a bit.

Sometimes it's easier to Google what you want; Amazon usually comes up at or near the top. I find Amazon's search capability awful in comparison to other search engines.

Is there a way to exclude some terms when you do a search on Amazon? When I say I want 'red', that's all I want...not every other color. When I want "Twin XL sheets" I do not want other sizes, and I don't want mattresses or XL size clothing, etc. Very annoying.

Chisue, if you know what you are looking for the filters on the left side will help the narrowing. Amazons algorithm from the main search bar will give you the world - twin xl sheets gets you to the main dept. Then you have to use the filters to the left. In this example choose twin extra long from the size choices, red from the color section, etc. In the OP’s case, she could narrow further by choosing percale in the material filter, even though it was already stated in the main search. Redundant for sure but those filters are helpful.

Thanks for the replies. I almost purchased a couple of sets from Amazon that had great older reviews, but when I checked the newer reviews and customer pictures, they were pretty bad. Some arrived with holes in them. I think I'll stick with known brands.

I am liking the sateen Lands End sheets more than I expected and I may get some more of those when they have some better colors in stock in the split king size.
