Steam shower ceiling tile help

We are building a dream shower. It has a very large flush mount rain head. The shower is also a steam shower. The problem is how do you tile the ceiling with adequate slope with such a huge rain head?

My builder suggested I break up the tile into 4x4inch squares but I feel all those grout lines will defeat the purpose of the slope. Also the builder suggested we slope all those small tiles to the shower head but after some reading, I think the purpose of the slope is to move water away from where the person would be sitting in the shower? In that case, the tile should slope to the back wall? How do we accomplish that?

I understand we need to slope the tile 1” every 12inch if tile for the ceiling.

I feel the entire shower head needs to go up about 2” so that the tile around it can then slope to the glass channel which is flush with finished ceiling outside the shower. Otherwise, at this time as the shower head is flush to the glass channel and the ceiling outside the shower, the tile will now be proud of the outside finished ceiling by 2” making it unsightly.

Thoughts ?

Thanks
