Originally purchased the windows from Sierra window concepts. There now out of business I wonder why ? and I have to deal with getting the windows replaced yet again it’s less than 10 years old. Anlin won’t warranty because even though they manufacture the product but it was under SWC band which apparently is a private label brand. I heard them pitch lifetime warranty transferable lifetime warranty virgin vinyl it’s all false.

becca .... start you own post.. in the conifer or tree forum ... add pix of your plant.. as well as the tag if any ... spruces are not pines ... but that is semantics ... but it matters ... both are conifer.. and both are trees ... as such.. neither ever really stop growing at some magical height... i refer you to any view of a forest ... there are dwarf versions.. that grow slower ... and consequently are smaller.. OVER THE DECADES .... the conifer folks need to see yours ... and see if we can narrow it down for you ... you might also throw in a pic of the spot you want to plant it in .... and include your big city name location ... and we can guess how long it will take.. for it to outgrow that spot... it is probably easy to presume.. it should be planted at a min.. 10 feet from the house .... unless its a mini ... ken

There's a Red Door franchise here in Knoxville, TN. I'm not sure how much control the national brand has over different franchises--someone might have a great experience with one franchisee, while another has a nightmare with a different franchisee. Our experience was a very weird situation; we originally contacted a high end custom home builder, but because we didn't want to do cost plus, he passed us off to his lower end company--a Red Door franchise. They seemed eager to build a custom home for us on our land, but all of their brochures, website, etc. were focused on tract homes with only minor alterations allowed. Their showroom was full of samples; it gave the impression that we'd be allowed to choose from the 6 faucets on display, the 4 roof shingles on display, the 5 countertop samples on display, etc. It almost seemed like they wanted to build our home as a way to break out of their "tract build" business model? We ended up going with a different builder and an architect to design our home.

The installer that I would be working with is a dealer for them and I'm going to get referrals from them from customers that have had these windows installed. The installer has been in business for 75 years and has a good reputation. They've used the West Windows for the past 40 years. I've seen the sample windows and actual full-size windows in their warehouse and they seem to be good quality. I'm trying to see if there is anyone here that can provide some information. I did check the BBB and there are no reviews or complaints against them.
