Comments (9)I've never used PhotoStory but found these instructions online. Make sure your computer has a DVD burner and that it is working. If the instructions below don't work, open Nero (which I also don't use) and create a copy by dragging the file into a new burn project window. Other than that, can't help you much. Good luck. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD burner. On the Save your story page, click Save your story for playback on your home DVD player. Click Next to temporarily save the photo story. On the Completing Photo Story for Windows page, click Continue and save your story to a DVD for playback on your home DVD player. In the Create a DVD dialog box, do the following: * In the DVD Title box, type a title for your DVD. * In the Video Title box, type a title for the photo story video. * If you have more than one DVD burner installed on your computer, make sure that you choose the correct DVD burner. Click Create DVD. The time it takes to save the story to DVD is determined by the overall performance of your computer system, the length of your story, and the recording speed of your DVD burner. In the Disc Create Complete dialog box, click No to close the dialog box, If you want, save the project for your story. To save the project, click Save Project, and then in the File name box, type a name for your project, and then click Save. By saving the project for your story, you can later open the project in Photo Story 3 and make additional changes, and then save it to your computer or save it to another recordable DVD....See Morevideo of 1949 step saving kitchen
Comments (12)The State University Cooperative Extensions -- the same organizations that do the Master Gardeners have some of the same information, it's just required less by "modern folk". But they started out having information about increasing yields for backyard vegetable farmers and people with a few chickens or a pig or cow who were not professional farmers. They also taught safe canning techniques and food processing (in those days many children died from contaminated milk and things like that). Still do. Some are branching out into all kinds of other areas now -- energy conservation, Habitat-like building, aquaculture. Do a search on your state cooperative extension's web site, and there should be lots of gardening, simple cooking and other home-keeping information. Maybe even get involved!...See More1949 Kitchen Step Saving Kitchen Video
Comments (10)Fun to watch. It shows how meal prep has evolved for sure. And look how much more she prepares in a very small footprint. I can’t imagine needing a 40 pound bag of flour at the ready. I also didn’t realize paper towels were a common item at that time. What the heck was she doing when sitting down and bagging something up? I like that she used the iron to heat seal the bag. It did gross me out that she didn’t rinse the soap off the dishes! I absolutely love the corner upper cabinets. I think the countertop corners in a U are generally wasted. If I could do this I would!...See MoreRichard (Vero Beach, Florida)
